To make AutoTempest better, you should...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  2. Add filter for title status or running condition so that wrecked cars are not offered along with running cars by dealers

    Filtering by title is now an option on AutoTempest.com. The filter can be found under the Advanced Search on our home page, and alongside the rest of the filters on our results page.

  3. Allow to filter searches by number of cylinders

    Filter search results by number of cylinders, or, even better, engine layout (e.g. I6, V6, H6, rotary, etc.)

    This feature is now live on AutoTempest.com. On the advanced search form on the homepage, or the search form on the results page there’s an option to select number of cylinders. It’s multi-select too so you can select multiple options instead of just one.

    Ah, thanks for pointing that out. We actually shouldn’t list either one, since they’re internal BMW designations. Instead you’ll want to search 3-series and choose the year range you want.

    Hey guys,

    Just wanted to express my appreciation to you guys for your efforts with the site. I've been using it for a couple of years now, and over the past year I've bought two cars through it. I'm pretty specific on what I want in a vehicle, and I've been fortunate to find both a 2018 Subaru Forester Limited with a 6-speed manual, as well as a 2011 Ford Hennessey Velociraptor through the site.   12. Add a search text field with auto complete

    Add a elastic search field that will autocomplete make and model. This would make searching from a long list of makes and models a lot easier and also reduce the time taken by a user to get from the search page to their search results.

  15. Add different trims to cars (I.E Camaro LT1, SS, ZL1)

    Filter by Title is now an option on AutoTempest.com. Under Advanced Search on the homepage and in the filters on the results page there’s now an option to filter your search by Title.

    add a big filtering system, where you can choose build style, brands, mby country of production?, wheeldrive, fuel type, engine size, engine power, original/modified etc.

  18. Better Search options

    You need to add an option, Clean Title, Rebuilt Title, or Salvage Title, so people can find what they are looking for more easily. I'm looking for a clean titled vehicle, yet there are tons of rebuilt & salvage vehicles I have to weed through, very frustrating. Also add an option for 4,5,6,8,10,12 cylinders etc... Also add Corvette options 1LT,2LT or 3LT, Jaguar F-type options S,R etc. Email Alerts also for saved searches and newly listed vehicles.

    We now have search filters on AutoTempest.com for Title and Cylinders, both can be found on the Advance Search section on the homepage search form and on with all the filters on the results page search form.

    Searching for the models/trim mentioned using the options Nathan mentioned previously is still your best options for searching for those.
