Add an option to filter our listings by trim
why dont you add the trim level firter? shhhhhhhhhhhh................
2 votesIt turns out the best way to handle this is to allow keyword searching of the trim field. The reason is, most sellers are very inconsistent with what they enter for vehicle trim, so it is difficult to present it as a coherent list. Instead, if you’re looking for a specific trim, please type it in the keywords box and it should find relevant listings.

Let us type in model names, instead of choosing yours.
Sometimes they are misspelled in the ads and can be found by misspelling them in the search blocks.

Results without images are now filtered out by default, except for craigslist posts. To filter those, you can use the ‘has image’ option on SearchTempest.com, after clicking through from AutoTempest.

Filter out deleted craigslist ads
A majority of the results on craigslist, once clicked on, have been removed from the author/deleted. SearchTempest should do a better job at making sure those results do not show up in the search.

Because of how we search craigslist on SearchTempest, we can’t actually filter craigslist results by price, image, or many of the other filters that are supported directly on craigslist when in SearchTempest’s Combined Results mode. However, if you switch to SearchTempest’s Direct Results mode using the button above the results, you can filter by all the filters that craigslist supports. Direct Results is a little more complicated than Combined Results, but it gives you much more control over the results that you see. Hope that helps!

Option to filter new listings
Have an option to filter out new results. It's inconvenient and time consuming to surf through pages and pages of results on such a large database. There should be a button that can provide viewing options for new listings and/or listings posted in the last ___ days.

Should be able to sort by date posted across all sites searched

Your missing a whole vehicle that will be searched for. Many have been sold thru Craigslist all over the world.
5 votesWe’ve added some models. For others, you can choose Mercedes and Any Model, then enter the model name in the keywords field.

fix the searches for Cars.com - the new autotempest one consistently says "no results found" for cars.com when there are in fact results
Something is not quite working with Autotempest's ability to search Cars.com. a search for 2005-2007 Mercedes Benz S65 produces this "No results found for CarsDirect, AutoTempest, Cars.com" but if I go directly to Cars.com, do advanced search for S class, and type S65 as a keyword, I find 3 results within 500 miles of Dallas and 31 matches within all miles of Dallas.

1 voteBecause we the SearchTempest “Combined Results” mode is powered by Google, we can’t currently filter by price. If you want to be able to filter by price, try using the “Direct Results” mode, which gives you all the search options natively available on craigslist.

Filter results to only results posted in the last X days. This filter already exists on SearchTempest.

Add year filter to SearchTempest
Having the year filter hidden on SearchTempest doesn't really make sense. It's hard to tell when it's still being applied or not, or how to turn it back on again. We plan to add the year filter directly to SearchTempest soon. Vote for this idea if you'd like to see it done sooner rather than later!
