To make AutoTempest better, you should...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Add New Touareg Models

    The list of volkswagen models only includes the Touareg 2 which runs to model year 2010. The Touareg 3 (t3) is model year 2011 to 2018. There is also a new model that debuted in model year 2019. I am unable to search for the 2011 Touareg using the currently supplied models

  6. when looking up Is-f it brings up regular Is model not the 5.0 model. There is only one IS-F and it's not coming up in seach.

    Specific model not coming up in search. IS-F is not coming up. Just a bunch of f sport models in the IS series, which is a package not the vehicle. Poor search engine.

  11. Search Exclusion Tagging System

    Add an "excluded from search" feature to slim down irrelevant results. For example, a tagging system. That way, when you search for any car within your budget, but know you don't want a Toyota, you aren't spammed with pages and pages of Toyota RAV4's before you can get to the good stuff.

  14. Separate Montero from Montero Sport: They are not the same...

    When searching for "Montero" all the Montero Sports show up as well as it creates a lot to sift through to find the full-sized Montero's. They're not the same at all.

    The Focus ST actually is a separate model in our system (you’ll see that you can select it separately in the model list). However, unfortunately, based on how things are currently coded, the ST will sometimes show up for regular Focus searches. Unfortunately that’s non-trivial to solve generally, but it is something we’re working on.

    That said, if you want to avoid Focus ST results in your search, there is a way to do that – in the keywords field (under Advanced Search) enter -ST. That will tell it to exclude any results containing “ST”. So unless there’s another reason that word would appear in posts you are interested in, it should solve your problem. (And again, we’ll keep working on the more general case.)
