Please add Pickup to Toyota model
Toyota Pickup, the official name and titled name of Toyota’s truck from 1968 - 1994
1 voteIncluding this model in the list was causing a fair amount of confusion for some users, but you can still search for it by typing it into the field yourself.

add Aston Martin Cygnet
Please add Aston Martin Cygnet!
1 voteWe generally avoid adding models not sold in North America to our lists, to keep them from getting too long, but that doesn't mean you can't search for them. You can type any model name into the Model field, and AutoTempest will search for it. So in this case, I'd recommend choosing Aston Martin as the make, and then typing Cygnet into the model field. You can also set other filters if you wish. (Though they're going to be relatively rare, so it might not be worth filtering further.)

Add the Fiesta ST as a separate model
Needs its own model. Impossible to find apart from regular fiestas.
1 voteI just checked entering Fiesta as the model and ST in the trim field, and it seems to give good results? https://www.autotempest.com/results?make=ford&model=fiesta&trim_kw=ST

Add ability to search by trims using commas to separate the trims in the trim search field.
I tried to use CSV to search for the 3 trims I'm interested in, but the search removed the commas and I ended up with no results as the search tried to match every word.
1 voteThe trims field work the same as the keyword field - it does support searching for multiple different options, but you need to separate them with pipes rather than commas, and put quotes around them if they're multiple words, like this:
trim | "other trim" | "third trim"

toyota fortuner is missing ..
toyota fortuner is missing in toyota section
1 voteSince AutoTempest currently only supports the North American market, we don’t include every global model if it isn’t sold in the US or Canada. You can still search for these models though, by choosing the “Other Model” option in the model dropdown, and typing in the name. (Since we only search North America though, you probably won’t find many.)

Simplify Body Types
Simplify your body types. 2 door. 4 door. Minivan. Station wagon. 2 door SUV. 4 door SUV. Convertible.
1 voteThese are pretty close to our existing list of body types. 2 door = coupe, 4 door = sedan. The others are the same except that we include hatchback as a separate style and don’t differentiate 2-door SUV and 4-door SUV. (I’ve actually never heard of a 2-door SUV!)

Sort by country of manufacture
Sort by where made ex: US or Europe cause theres 2 Ford escort maker countries
1 voteThanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, this is not a filter that most of our sources provide, so it would be unlikely we’ll ever be able to implement this.

Porche 911 Turbo
Differentiate between models
1 voteTo search for a 911 Turbo, please choose Porsche and 911 from the Make/Model dropdowns, then type Turbo in the "trim keywords" field.

Motorcycle search
If we could search by brand/model for motorcycles that would be great. I'd love to search based on common names instead of the exact model number. (ex. Honda Magna instead of Honda VF700c)
1 voteThanks for the suggestion! We’re planning to keep AutoTempest focused on cars, but we will be adding more motorcycle search features to searchtempest.com soon. The first thing we have planned is to add results from Cycletrader.com.

Please add the Audi Allroad
The Audi Allroad was a bit different of a model then the Audi A4 Allroad and made years before. It was based on the Audi A6 Avant but had Adjustable Air Suspension, tougher plastic that wouldnt get scratched as easily as paint, different styling...
.... and are cheaper because of more complicated service and additional issues, but very desirable because of tuning options and large amount of wrenchers that pick em up for cheap so a lot of info on repair.
1 voteYou can actually search any model by choosing “Other” from the model dropdown.

Add Jetta GLX and GLS
These are VR6 models that are tricky to find, would help if it was a search option.
1 voteAs I understand it, the GLX and GLS are trim levels of the Jetta, rather than separate models. The best way to search for them should be to choose Jetta from the model dropdown. then enter the trim you’re looking for (GLX or GLS) in the keywords box. Currently we don’t support OR’ed keywords (although we’re working on it!) so if you want to search both, you would make two separate searches.

Scion FRS missing from list of models for Scion.
The Scion FRS is not listed as one of the optional choices for model year.
1 voteThe model name is FR-S, which is listed. (Don’t worry though; we search “FRS” as well as “FR-S” when you choose it.)

Type R is a trim; we’re going to add a trim filter soon.

I was looking for a FORD MARAUDER and I was not able to find "That Model Option", thank you
I was looking for a FORD MARAUDER and I was not able to find "That Model Option
1 voteThe Marauder was sold under the Mercury brand. You can find it there.

The Type-S is a trim level. At the moment we only distinguish between models, not specific trims. However, you can filter to a specific trim level using the keywords field. So for example, you could choose Acura CL from the dropdowns, then type “Type-S” in the keywords box.

Add Suzuki Vehicross
missing Suzuki Vehicross
1 voteAs far as I can tell, the VehiCROSS was under the Isuzu brand (where we do have it listed!)

better search results
search by model name like cars.com and cargurus, e.g. Turbo S, Carrera 4s etc..
1 voteThose are actually technically trim levels of the 911 rather than model names. We may eventually add a trim dropdown, but it’s more difficult for us than for a site like cargurus or cars.com, since we aggregate from many sources, whereas they get their listings directly from dealers (and so they can specify the format).
That said, you can already find what you’re looking for by choosing 911 from the model box, and then in the keywords field, put the trim level you want, in quotes, like “Turbo S” or “4S”.

add Shelby GT350 and GT350R as vehicle models under Ford manufacturer
add search tab for Shelby GT350 and Shelby GT350R
1 voteThe best way to search for these would be to choose Mustang, and then enter Shelby GT350 or GT350R (or just Shelby if you want them all) in the keywords box.

add smart roadster
as the title says, the smart roadster is lacking
1 voteOur model lists are focused on North American models, but you can still search for the smart Roadster. Just choose smart from the make dropdown, and enter Roadster under ‘other smart model’ in the model box.

Instead of adding separate models for hybrid versions of existing cars, we’re going to be adding a ‘fuel type’ filter soon. In the meantime, we suggest searching for Optima as the model, and entering “hybrid” in the keywords.
