To make AutoTempest better, you should...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

    If i search for vehicles under $10,000 all it shows is from bring a trailer and none of them are under that price. Need to clean things up alot, thats very frustrating.

  2. Continue doing things like CarTrek as part of your marketing.

    CarTrek was so enjoyable to watch, and definitely improves your brand recognition! Your name being out there on the videos I watch makes me remember to go here and use the site, and may in fact be where I found out about the site in the first place. I buy cars more than the average person, and your site is useful.

    Filter by Title is now an option on AutoTempest.com. Under Advanced Search on the homepage and in the filters on the results page there’s now an option to filter your search by Title.

    We’re actually going to simplify the Ferrari model list, since these are all really trim levels of the 488. So the way to search for the Pista would be to choose 488 from the dropdown, and then enter ‘Pista’ in the trim field.

  8. open in all tabs

    Create a "right click" on number of cities (ex: 17 cities) so that we can open all cities in separate tabs with just a couple clicks, just like I can do with my folders I created in my bookmarks files.

    This feature is now on AutoTempest.com. Under craigslist results there’s a button that says Open All Craigslist Results and this will open all the results in tabs or windows (depending on your browser settings).

  10. Search by Type instead of Make/Model.

    I want a pickup truck. I don't care whether it's a Ford, Chevy, whatever. I also don't care whether it's a 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton, or 1-ton.

  11. electric vehicle

    People in the market for electric vehicles are usually interested in just EVs. It is hard to search because the term electric is included in so many vehicles deschiption. Could a fuel type button be added? Gas, Diesel, hybrid, Plug in Hybrid, and all electric would be great!

  12. Add New Touareg Models

    The list of volkswagen models only includes the Touareg 2 which runs to model year 2010. The Touareg 3 (t3) is model year 2011 to 2018. There is also a new model that debuted in model year 2019. I am unable to search for the 2011 Touareg using the currently supplied models

    You can now filter by Drive Type on AutoTempest.com, which includes 4WD, AWD and a few other options.

    Currently the best option for searching for blu-ray or DVD would be our keywords field where you can enter either or both of these options.

  14. Add Facebook Marketplace As Search Feed

    Facebook Marketplace has attracted a large number of vehicle sales, however its search mechanism seems suited for local sales, and it's a bit cumbersome to search nationally. It would be great if it could be added here as a feed, with a national view of availability for a particular search.

  15. Only show model asled for

    When searching for a golf r a gti or base model shouldn't be showing up. It would be nice to be able to narrow down the amount of vehicles shown. So that you can find exactly what you want. Thanks for your time.

  19. Good site but could use some sharpening and Clutter removal

    Try offering more practical options in the advanced search tab. I can't search trim levels unless I name them by manufacturer designation. No biggie but kinda sucks.
    Also when a new search is generated the Old query details should be Deleted. I search a Lexus but it answers No Results because the RT trim is left over 4 lines below from my last search. Cmon guys

    add a big filtering system, where you can choose build style, brands, mby country of production?, wheeldrive, fuel type, engine size, engine power, original/modified etc.
