Year groupings
I should be able to check off particular years I am interested in, rather than a chronological group. For example, I should be able to do a search on Porsche 911, 1987-1989 and 1995-1998, all in one search. Or Honda Civic, 2009, 2012, 2015, and 2017. Sometimes particular model years have likes or dislikes, and you would want to reduce your results accordingly. Maybe an option where you can check boxes for the exact years you are interested in???

Probably not something we’re going to do, as it’s a relatively uncommon desire, which can be done by saving separate searches. I can understand how it would be nice if that’s what you’re specifically looking to do, but at this time we don’t feel the added complexity of the interface would be a reasonable tradeoff.
