Instead of adding separate models for hybrid versions of existing cars, we’re going to be adding a ‘fuel type’ filter soon. In the meantime, we suggest searching for Optima as the model, and entering “hybrid” in the keywords.

1 voteThe best way to search for these would be to choose Mustang, and then enter Shelby GT350 or GT350R (or just Shelby if you want them all) in the keywords box.

1 voteOur model lists are focused on North American models, but you can still search for the smart Roadster. Just choose smart from the make dropdown, and enter Roadster under ‘other smart model’ in the model box.

Add Motorcycle Manufacturers to Make selection list!
I see that motorcycle tempest was suggested before and declined, however I hope my suggestion can be helpful and provide a different angle as I see there are no plans to make a moto specific site or features.
So I am a new user and mostly a fan of bikes, I see that a number of motorcycle manufacturers are already listed, such as Triumph and Suzuki to name a few. Those makes are already included on your site and you CAN find cycle results, why not just add the makes for Yamaha, KTM, Harley, etc to please the bike guys…

Add own searchable sites
Would love to be able to list my own sites I keep using to find cars in one master search engine.
For Example, I am using a local site called ksl, also autotrader, Carvana, Car gurus, truecar. Would be great if I could add all those and not check everything separately every day. Im sure there are other good ones out there I don't even know about.

We’re actually in the process of adding Carvana now, so you’ll have that before long. AutoTrader and CarGurus you can view through the ‘compare with’ section either in the navigation bar or in the section at the end of the page. Your drop down list for auto makers does not include Holden, Why is that?
1 voteThere are some makes that aren’t commonly found in North America that we don’t include, but it is still possible to search them using the keywords field. We’re going to make it a bit easier soon by adding an ‘Other Make’ option.

better search results
search by model name like cars.com and cargurus, e.g. Turbo S, Carrera 4s etc..
1 voteThose are actually technically trim levels of the 911 rather than model names. We may eventually add a trim dropdown, but it’s more difficult for us than for a site like cargurus or cars.com, since we aggregate from many sources, whereas they get their listings directly from dealers (and so they can specify the format).
That said, you can already find what you’re looking for by choosing 911 from the model box, and then in the keywords field, put the trim level you want, in quotes, like “Turbo S” or “4S”.

Leting you sort oldest to newest in the mobile sight.
I only have internet on my phone so I can only use the mobile sight. I have tried to sort vechels from oldest to newest a few times but I only get the newest ones first. I'm not sure how ling it would take to scroll the results tell i get to the oldest vehicle but I am unwilling to find out. Would be nice to be able to select ascending or descending order.
2 votesWe’d rather not complicate things with more sort options, but you can always filter your search to the years you’re interested in.

Refine
The "Refine Search" function should search what is asked. I looked for all Lexus with a manual transmission only which should be a smaller number since they are rare. It included ALL Lexus that did not specify it's transmission in their listings, which was a huge number of ads.

Please add “mototempest”
Hi my buddies and I really love your site when we search for cars but recently we have been looking for a specific motorcycle and I came up with the wish of having something like “autotempest” but for motorcycles and calling it “mototempest”. Hopefully sometime in the future you guys can add searches for motorcycles thanks!

I would suggest entering Ford Explorer in the make/model boxes, then Platinum in the keywords field. Should give what you’re looking for.

Autotrader.com, but full north american searches. Aggregate for the best possible price. AND MAKE SHORT/REGULAR/LONG BOXES ON TRUCKS A DAMN SEARCH ITEM. YEAH, THAT AND BUCKET/BENCH, AND CONSOLE VS COLUMN SHIFT ONE TOO....

Add a "search by state" filter.
It's annoying to register an out of state car here in Ohio. Searching by distance includes out of state results that I don't want to see.

2 votesSince I don’t believe the Beat was ever sold in the US (correct me if I’m wrong) we probably will leave it off the list, but you can still search for it by choosing “Other Model” and typing in the name.

3 votesWe’re generally avoiding adding low-production makes outside of North America to keep the lists from growing too large, but you can still search for these vehicles: just leave the dropdown set to “Any Make”, and enter Noble and the model you’re searching for in the keywords field.
