I would like the ability to "subscribe" to new search results where new results are delivered in email notification format. For example I am looking for a 2010 Ford E-350 super duty diesel extended length van. These are pretty rare and almost never come up for sale. Rather than checking the website daily I would like to be able to enter search criteria and have the site automatically search for me every 24hrs and email me if there is a new listing. I would even be willing to pay .99/moth or so for a powerful feature such as this.

Hello all... does anyone know if this works yet? I know it can be done on craigslist... The whole idea of an auto tempest is great.. but without this.. no reason to visit it anymore if I have to comb through a dozen links to see if there is even just 1 new listing... Does anyone have a shortcut to this using other auto sites like craigslist, saved search function? I flip cars from time to time and have certain keywords set on craigslist to email me... Like mechanics special etc? Does anyone know of any hack or anything like that at all for other car sites that auto tempest uses? It seems like a fairly simple addition to the site search functions. thank you all... Happy New Year!

This has been planned for quite a while, hasn't it! We're definitely still planning to add email alerts at some point; we've been prioritizing adding additional filters and sources of listings, but we will get there.

I prefer TEXT, not email. So maybe both email and text alerts please?!

When will this be added? For people looking for a very specific model, in a smaller geography, this is a must have feature to get an alert email on a saved search criteria. Coming back every day to manually search for a car that might only show up every 3 months is just lame.

Another vote for this feature. I actually came to the feedback site to add this, but clearly other users had the same idea ahead of me!

I would like a notification when certain cars i look for pop up

It's April 2019. Once I've executed a search, I can save it, but there seems to be no option to get email alerts? except through a pop-up that sometimes appears, not reliable.

I'd like to receive an alert when alerts have been added as a feature. Ha!
