add a big filtering system, where you can choose build style, brands, mby country of production?, wheeldrive, fuel type, engine size, engine power, original/modified etc.

Results without images are now filtered out by default, except for craigslist posts. To filter those, you can use the ‘has image’ option on SearchTempest.com, after clicking through from AutoTempest.

Allow to filter searches by number of cylinders
Filter search results by number of cylinders, or, even better, engine layout (e.g. I6, V6, H6, rotary, etc.)
28 votesThis feature is now live on AutoTempest.com. On the advanced search form on the homepage, or the search form on the results page there’s an option to select number of cylinders. It’s multi-select too so you can select multiple options instead of just one.

Add year filter to SearchTempest
Having the year filter hidden on SearchTempest doesn't really make sense. It's hard to tell when it's still being applied or not, or how to turn it back on again. We plan to add the year filter directly to SearchTempest soon. Vote for this idea if you'd like to see it done sooner rather than later!

Filter out deleted craigslist ads
A majority of the results on craigslist, once clicked on, have been removed from the author/deleted. SearchTempest should do a better job at making sure those results do not show up in the search.

Filter By Title
A way you can sort or filter cars by there current title (e.g. Salvage, Lemon, Clean, etc)

electric vehicle
People in the market for electric vehicles are usually interested in just EVs. It is hard to search because the term electric is included in so many vehicles deschiption. Could a fuel type button be added? Gas, Diesel, hybrid, Plug in Hybrid, and all electric would be great!

We know, Hemmings is a blatant omission from our current list of sources. Vote for this to see Hemmings added as a source sooner rather than later!

We now have the ability to receive notifications for searches on AutoTempest.com. At the top of the results page there’s a form where you can enter your email address to receive email alerts for that search. We’re working on highlighting new listings for the searches you receive alerts for as well so you can easily locate any new listings for the search you’re receiving alerts for.

Your missing a whole vehicle that will be searched for. Many have been sold thru Craigslist all over the world.

Ability to search and select multiple options like 4WD, AWD, blu-ray, and DVD
allow us the ability to select multiple features at once like 4WD, AWD, blu-ray, and DVD
4 votesYou can now filter by Drive Type on AutoTempest.com, which includes 4WD, AWD and a few other options.
Currently the best option for searching for blu-ray or DVD would be our keywords field where you can enter either or both of these options.

Search Exclusion Tagging System
Add an "excluded from search" feature to slim down irrelevant results. For example, a tagging system. That way, when you search for any car within your budget, but know you don't want a Toyota, you aren't spammed with pages and pages of Toyota RAV4's before you can get to the good stuff.
4 votesThis can be done with negative keywords. Simply put hyphens before your keywords or key phrases like -toyota -“leather seats” to remove any listings with those words or phrases.
