Leting you sort oldest to newest in the mobile sight.
I only have internet on my phone so I can only use the mobile sight. I have tried to sort vechels from oldest to newest a few times but I only get the newest ones first. I'm not sure how ling it would take to scroll the results tell i get to the oldest vehicle but I am unwilling to find out. Would be nice to be able to select ascending or descending order.
2 votesWe’d rather not complicate things with more sort options, but you can always filter your search to the years you’re interested in.

Scion FRS missing from list of models for Scion.
The Scion FRS is not listed as one of the optional choices for model year.

Your $@#*%^g software
How about getting your software to accept email addresses ending in suddenlink.net? My main email address has been in use for over 15 years, but according to your or Survey Monkey's software, it "doesn't appear to be a valid email address".
1 voteWhile we use surveymonkey to power our site survey, we don’t control their software. Unfortunately I have no idea why it isn’t recognizing your email address.

Refine
The "Refine Search" function should search what is asked. I looked for all Lexus with a manual transmission only which should be a smaller number since they are rare. It included ALL Lexus that did not specify it's transmission in their listings, which was a huge number of ads.

Please add “mototempest”
Hi my buddies and I really love your site when we search for cars but recently we have been looking for a specific motorcycle and I came up with the wish of having something like “autotempest” but for motorcycles and calling it “mototempest”. Hopefully sometime in the future you guys can add searches for motorcycles thanks!

Add Jetta GLX and GLS
These are VR6 models that are tricky to find, would help if it was a search option.
1 voteAs I understand it, the GLX and GLS are trim levels of the Jetta, rather than separate models. The best way to search for them should be to choose Jetta from the model dropdown. then enter the trim you’re looking for (GLX or GLS) in the keywords box. Currently we don’t support OR’ed keywords (although we’re working on it!) so if you want to search both, you would make two separate searches.

Please add the Audi Allroad
The Audi Allroad was a bit different of a model then the Audi A4 Allroad and made years before. It was based on the Audi A6 Avant but had Adjustable Air Suspension, tougher plastic that wouldnt get scratched as easily as paint, different styling...
.... and are cheaper because of more complicated service and additional issues, but very desirable because of tuning options and large amount of wrenchers that pick em up for cheap so a lot of info on repair.

It looks like the R is a trim level of the V70, right? You should be able to find them by choosing V70 from the dropdown, and then entering “R” (without the quotes) in the keywords box. You could also try choosing “Other Volvo Model” and then typing V70R (as a separate search) to catch any that have been misspelled, without the space.

I would suggest entering Ford Explorer in the make/model boxes, then Platinum in the keywords field. Should give what you’re looking for.

Year groupings
I should be able to check off particular years I am interested in, rather than a chronological group. For example, I should be able to do a search on Porsche 911, 1987-1989 and 1995-1998, all in one search. Or Honda Civic, 2009, 2012, 2015, and 2017. Sometimes particular model years have likes or dislikes, and you would want to reduce your results accordingly. Maybe an option where you can check boxes for the exact years you are interested in???
1 voteProbably not something we’re going to do, as it’s a relatively uncommon desire, which can be done by saving separate searches. I can understand how it would be nice if that’s what you’re specifically looking to do, but at this time we don’t feel the added complexity of the interface would be a reasonable tradeoff.

Chevy Lumina Z34
Add them to your drop down box. there are lumina cars , Vans and coupes. << Z34
1 voteI would recommend choosing Lumina as the model, then entering Z34 in the keywords field. Not all sellers will include the full name in the model field, so this should be the most reliable way to find them.

Motorcycle search
If we could search by brand/model for motorcycles that would be great. I'd love to search based on common names instead of the exact model number. (ex. Honda Magna instead of Honda VF700c)
1 voteThanks for the suggestion! We’re planning to keep AutoTempest focused on cars, but we will be adding more motorcycle search features to searchtempest.com soon. The first thing we have planned is to add results from Cycletrader.com.

3 votesFor very uncommon classic makes, rather than adding them to the list, we’re asking users to use the ‘keywords’ field. So leave it set to ‘any make’, and then enter Durant and the model name, if any, under keywords. (You could also use the min and max year fields if you want, to filter out anything newer that might share the same keywords.)
We’re going to make this more intuitive in the future by adding an ‘Other’ option in the make and model fields, which will bring up a separate box to enter the make/model name, but the effect will be basically the same.

Add 2012-2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302
Need to add Boss 302 model to the Ford Mustang line up for the following years: 1967, 1969, 1970, 2012, 2013.
0 votesMany sellers will list this as a trim instead of a separate model, so what we suggest is choosing Mustang as the model, then typing boss 302 in the keywords. Should give you what you’re looking for. (Along with entering a range of years, of course.)

Autotrader.com, but full north american searches. Aggregate for the best possible price. AND MAKE SHORT/REGULAR/LONG BOXES ON TRUCKS A DAMN SEARCH ITEM. YEAH, THAT AND BUCKET/BENCH, AND CONSOLE VS COLUMN SHIFT ONE TOO....
