Change the home page back, this new one is terrible, ugly and looks AI generated. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

Bring Back Old Filter System
Please bring back the single page of editable search filters. The new filtering system forces you to open each drop down. There are 7 different drop-downs to open to see all of the options. The previous system showed all the filters/ranges on 1 single page. It only took 1 click not 10. I appreciated the speed of searching.

Add Toyota Corolla Hatchback
The Matrix and Corolla iM are present as the spiritual predecessors, but the Corolla Hatchback has been running since 2019 and is still unlisted, despite being generally more available than either the Matrix or iM.

Location outside of the US
Hi team,
From what I have looked at its great work.
It would be amazing to be able use the site from places like Aotearoa/New Zealand or Australia
We have a number of traide/sale sites.1 vote -
Use AI to refine tags from pictures submitted by seller to limit subitter from adding crazy non existant tags and features
This could help you refine the search to help limit the submitter from dumping bunk data to get clicks. You could also use AI to better organize data so that your featured autos pop up based on location and vehicle demographics, or produce alternate options for purchaser in an extended search based on interest or need. "Don't remember my searches" needs to be seperate from "Load more"
Multiple times now I have lost dozens of search filters because of these buttons being so close to eachother.
Option 1: move the button.
Option 2: Confirmation popup
Option 3: Remove the "load more" button and use a scrolling list1 voteThat is an excellent point; I agree that there should be a confirmation before a destructive action like that. We'll get on it.

Listing the hidden fees to purchase a used car
there are some hidden price when we purchase a new car that varies based on the model and brand, I would love to see all the other details such as the inspection fee, the cleaning fee (like going to a carwash or booking a detailer from pandahub.com), the transfer fees and stuff like that, all in one place or even as a list too.
Or maybe only one landing page for the estimation based on what real users actually paid.

Add the ability to exclude certain states. I would like to exclude rust belt states from my results when searching nationwide.
I'm searching nationwide for Ford Raptors, while they are very common and I'm willing to fly, I want to exclude salt states from my search.

Upvote and Downvote System For Each Listing
A "reddit" style upvote/downvote system for listings that would reflect the communities interest or quality of the vehicle being listed. Only logged in users could vote, but all visitors could see. Highly upvoted listings could drive attention and pricing. Don't show an overall downvoted listing (to avoid abuse), but report results to listing owner so they can improve their marketing.

retain the sources list on refresh
When I pull up email search results and refresh the page to see the latest results of that search, the sources list randomly resets to different values, thus affecting the new search results. The selected sources do not appear to be saved with the rest of the settings in the saved search.
1 voteSo, what's happening here is, the list of sites to choose is a preference rather than part of the search. When you open the sites list and save your changes, those settings will be used for all future searches until you change it again. Except... if you saved an alert with a different set of sites than the one you're now using, and you pull up the results from that search, we will show all the sites that were saved to the alert, because otherwise you might not see the cars you were alerted on.
However, we didn't want to just override your setting, since that might not be expected. As you've pointed out though, that causes a different kind of unexpected behavior, in that next search (including if you refresh), it then reverts back to your saved site list. We will need to address that.

Filter by franchise vs. independent dealers
Hi! Thanks for making AutoTempest, it really is the best auto search platform right now. One feature I'd really love is the ability to filter dealer cars by franchised dealer (e.g. "Smith Honda") vs. independent dealers. This would be helpful for people like me who prefer buying from only dealers affiliated with a manufacturer -- they tend to hold their cars to a higher standard since the manufacturers name is on the line. Certain lenders -- Los Angeles Credit Union, for a real world example -- also provide discounts if the vehicle being purchased is from a franchised dealer, making…

Add engine HP to main summary
One of the main reasons CarGurus.com is the first place I go is the ability to see engine HP on the main summary. A number of vehicles will have the same engine size and cylinder count, but different tunes, or a turbo/supercharger that drastically changes the vehicles viability for use. Seeing this HP in the quick summary is wildly helpful.

Flag to exclude lot drives mechanic special
When sorting results with cheapest cars first, the top results are often honest ads for cars showing substantial crash damage or disclosing unfixed mechanical problems. Sellers are honest here; titles are not necessarily branded, salvage.
Ideally you would have a condition field like Amazon has for sales of used books (mint/good/fair/damaged/partial etc) but if you could simply brainstorm ten top keywords of "damage, collision, crash, flood, inoperable, lot drives, mechanics special..." and built the field and flag yourself that would be very helpful.1 vote -
Please make the Front end in react or angular. So it will be fast and quick to search. The front end you can deploy on CDN/S3 for quick load
So I was browsing the website and it was loading too slowly. I believe it's because you get a million hits in a second. I think it is the right time to upgrade the technology to Angular or React JS so that you can deploy the app on S3 or CDN for quick load. and reduce the server cost. Also, you can deploy some common apis into lambda functions so that they serve within 10 ms.
