Use AI to refine tags from pictures submitted by seller to limit subitter from adding crazy non existant tags and features
This could help you refine the search to help limit the submitter from dumping bunk data to get clicks. You could also use AI to better organize data so that your featured autos pop up based on location and vehicle demographics, or produce alternate options for purchaser in an extended search based on interest or need. So if I want to exclude let's say cars from Salt Lake City vs. Phoenix.
If I live in vegas and search within a certain circle I get both, but I don't ever want cars from Utah or Idaho for that matter. So if I could just have a clickable map to always search that would be nice.
1 voteWe’re actually planning to add a filter very soon that will let you restrict results to only within your state, so hopefully that will help. A fully customized selector, potentially with a map, would be much more involved, and may not be worth the time or interface complexity compared to other things we could do—but we will consider it. Will leave this under review for now.

If a car is posted for several days, your webpage shows ‘Apr 3rd’ beside a small clock icon. Love that. However, if the car was posted last year in April, there is no mentioning of the year like ‘Apr 3rd '23’. Consequently, one does not know whether it was posted ‘Apr 3rd '24’ or ‘Apr 3rd '23’ or ‘Apr 3rd '22’ or …
Normally, cars are not posted that long, I know. Normally, you have several cars spread over several months making this obvious. Vehicle size selection
Select vehicle size: micro, sub-compact, compact, etc

You can search for vehicles with those words in the descriptions by using the keyword field: https://www.autotempest.com/results?zip=90210&localization=any&domesticonly=0&keywords=compact but this will also pull up other models that might have those words in the description so you get mixed results. Having a dedicated filter for it would eliminate results that don't match the size.

Ability to hold the CTRL button to select multiple options from the dropdown menus.
Currently when you select a color or other option from the dropdown menu the menu closes and you have to reopen it for each option you want to select. It would be much nicer & faster if we could hold the CTRL button down and the menus stay open so we can select multiple options quickly.

I would like to be able to look at cars in CAD instead of USD. For those of us outside of the USA who are looking to buy a car there for personal or professional reasons, having the option to choose your own currency would be great!

Interior Color for AutoTempest listings
Sellers are able to offer cars directly on AutoTempest like this one https://www.autotempest.com/details/vast--1629213745690845866. The seller specified the interior color ‘Light Cashmere/Medium Cashmere’.
In the normal search, on the left hand side, I have a list of interiors colors. None of those predefined colors matches, even not ‘Beige + Not Specified’.
‘Any’ works. Not going for a predefined color but manually entering the term ‘Cashmere’ works as well. However, that does not list all cars with beige interior. ‘Cashmere + Beige’ does not list any car, the same for ‘Cashmere + Tan’ or ‘Cashmere + Not specified’. Surprisingly, just entering…

While those listings are branded AutoTempest, they do come from a number of sources - basically anything that doesn't have a public website like cars.com, truecar, etc., goes under the AutoTempest brand. So it's still a matter of standardizing the info we get from them. We probably missed "Cashmere". Also though, it sounds like you uncovered a bug, since you should be able to search both a standard color and a custom one together and get results. Will get that sorted!

Please make the Front end in react or angular. So it will be fast and quick to search. The front end you can deploy on CDN/S3 for quick load
So I was browsing the website and it was loading too slowly. I believe it's because you get a million hits in a second. I think it is the right time to upgrade the technology to Angular or React JS so that you can deploy the app on S3 or CDN for quick load. and reduce the server cost. Also, you can deploy some common apis into lambda functions so that they serve within 10 ms.
